MINUTES OF THE REGULAR BOARD MEETING ON APRIL 26, 2005

Present at the regular meeting of the Ridgewood Board on April 26, 2005 were:  Carole Pfoutz, Larry Bertuccelli,  Dick Feaster, Don Nester, Iris Gardner, and Sandy Piercey.  Also in attendance were members of our Nominating Committee:  John Cooper, Anna Lewis, and Ralph Legg.

President Carole Pfoutz called the meeting to order at approximately 3 p.m. and passed out copies of the agenda.  Minutes had been previously submitted by E-mail to all members of the Board and approved without changes or corrections.  Treasurer Iris Gardner reported the Ridgewood account is still in the black.

The Nominating Committee reported that theyıve been having difficulty coming up with possible nominees for President, Secretary, and Member-at-Large.  In addition, they were not sure what the duties of a Member-at-Large would entail.  Larry Bertuccelli explained that this person will have no particular job other than to serve on the Board in any given capacity as needed at various times.  Larry also promised to make some calls and report back to the committee before May 1.

There was discussion regarding block captains contacting their homeowners to remind them to return the road maintenance assessment cards sent out by the County.  John Cooper, in his capacity as a block captain, was strongly against doing this and after much discussion left the meeting.  Since they had driven together, Ralph Legg followed shortly after.

Dick Feaster reported that a new neighborhood watch sign has been erected at the east entrance, at a cost of $75.89 for both the sign and the post.

Architectural Committee:  Bob Edwards has already moved and no one else on the  Committee has yet appointed a successor to their position.

Discussion was held regarding having a possible chat room on our web site as well as possibly posting ³letters to the editor² in which homeowners could recommend various services theyıve used as well as warning against those which have been less than desirable.

Sandy Piercey said there will be no activities in July, but will look into possibly having lunch at The Rock or Knightıs Ferry in August.

The tires on the lot near the Denhardıs have not yet been removed.  Carole Pfoutz will write a letter to the lot owner.

Larry will set a date for a Ridgewood clean-up day.  This will be posted in the newsletter so that anyone willing to help for a couple of hours can just show up.

It was decided that there will be no speaker at the general meeting other than Larry Bertuccelli who will explain the new by-laws.  Iris Gardner will provide a list of members who are current with their dues so that only their ballots will be counted.

The next meeting of the Board will be at the Pfoutz residence on July 19, 2005 at 3 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Iris R. Gardner
