The regular meeting of the Ridgewood Board of Directors was held on November 15, 2005, at the home of Carole and Richard Robinson.  In attendance were:  President Larry Bertuccelli, Vice-President Don Nester, Treasurer Iris Gardner, Newsletter Editor Carole Robinson, CC&R Chairman Carole Pfoutz, and Member-at-Large Sandy Piercey.  Dick Feaster and Forrest Dobbs were unable to attend.

The meeting was called to order by President Larry Bertuccelli at 3 p.m.  Minutes were not read as they had been previously read, corrected and approved by all members of the Board via e-mail.

Treasurer Iris Gardner provided the treasure report.   The association is the black and many people have already paid their dues.

Larry Bertuccelli reported on a meeting of the block captains that he had attended wherein they had discussed and clarified their various roles and responsibilities and how best to handle them.  A concern regarding the sale of a house that does not meet the approval of the Architectural Control Committee was later followed up by Larry with a letter to the listing real estate agent.

In his capacity as Chairman of the Architectural Control Committee, Don Nester reported that the Ronans had met with  the Committee regarding the installation of solar panels, but as of this date had decided against them.  Discussion then ensued how best to handle future items of this nature as well as well as enforcement of violations.   Larry stressed that the Architectural Committee is a separate entity, so Larry and Don will be perusing the CC&R's with an eye to possibly creating a document that will more clearly define the the architectural standards and their relationship to the CC&R's.  Meanwhile, Carole Pfoutz will be sending letters to those presently in violation of the CC&R's.

Sandy Piercey reported that the Ridgettes are still in need of hostesses for oncoming months.  Carole Robinson will make note of this in the next newsletter.  It was also suggested that a Letters to the Editors section be included in the newsletter wherein residents might voice their opinions, concerns, or other items they feel might be of general  interest.

Carole Robinson and Carole Pfoutz will judge the annual Christmas light contest; hopefully, the winners will be present at the holiday party to be hosted by Ray and Carole Pfoutz on Sunday, December 18.

The next regular meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled for January 24 at the home of Don and Betty Nester.

Respectfully submitted,

Iris Gardner
