The regular meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order at 3:10 PM at the home of Iris and Bob Gardner. Board members in attendance were President Larry Bertuccelli, Vice-president Don Nester, Secretary Forrest Dobbs, Treasurer Iris Gardner, and Member-at-large Sandy Piercey. Others present were Dick Feaster (Neighborhood Watch and Block Captain Committee Chairperson) and Carole Pfoutz (CC&R Committee Chairperson).

Minutes of the last regular meeting which had previously been e-mailed to Board members were approved without corrections or amendments.

Treasurer Iris Gardner gave the treasurer’s report, indicating a current positive balance.

Don Nester reported that the Architectural Committee has approved plans for an addition to a home on Parkridge Avenue. Also, owner John LaTorre will submit plans for building on Lot 40.

Carole Pfoutz will address a reported problem in the Ridgewood I area regarding too many cars parked on the property.

Don Nester reported that the membership list will be updated on the Association website.

Dick Feaster reported there were no new activities of the Neighborhood Watch and Block Captain committees.

President Larry Bertuccelli discussed corrections of errors in the last newsletter. The date of the 2nd Annual Clean-up Day should read June 17. The Clean-up Day meeting location remains the same--the home of President Larry Bertuccelli. Board positions up for election are Vice-president and Treasurer. The annual assessment of County Service Area 32 residents is given a weighted vote depending on the amount of assessment. Corrections will be e-mailed to residents by President Bertuccelli. In the future, President Bertuccelli will check articles for accuracy before the newsletter mailing.

Dick Feaster presented a compilation of competitive bids of six local propane companies for a proposed Ridgewood propane co-operative. Each of the companies responding to our letter requesting a bid listed its price per gallon, tank rental for the first, second, and subsequent years, cost of tank change-out, and any environmental recovery fee. The length of a contract, if any, was included, as well as any other information specific to thatcompany. After discussion, the Board voted to recommend AmeriGas as the supplier of propane for the Ridgewood Propane Co-op. A letter with specific information about the AmeriGas bid will be sent so residents can decide on their participation in the co-op. Also, a representative of AmeriGas will be at the June 11 summer membership meeting/ party to answer questions of residents.

Don Nester has agreed to his nomination to continue as Vice-president and Iris Gardner has agreed to her nomination to continue as Treasurer. Any further nominations can be called to Nominations Chairperson, Carole Pfoutz no later than Friday, June 9. If no other nominations are received, Don Nester and Iris Gardner will be elected by virtue of a white ballot.

Discussion was held regarding finding a reliable company to give a group discount on asphalt slurry and approaching AT&T on its timeline for DSL in Ridgewood.

The next meeting will be held on July 24, 2006 at 3 PM at the home of President Larry Bertuccelli.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:07 PM

Respectfully submitted,

Forrest Dobbs, Secretary
