RIDGEWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
Minutes of the regular meeting of the Board of Directors on August 22, 2011

The regular meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order at
3:00 PM at the home of Dave and Judith Palmer. Board members in
attendance were President Dave Palmer, Vice President Bim Hastings,
Treasurer Sandy Piercey, Secretary Kathie Isaac-Luke, Newsletter
Editor Jeanne Legg, Ridgette Chairperson Carole Robinson, Webmaster
Don Nester, Architectural Control Committee Chairperson Marty Gerbasi,
and outgoing Treasurer Ralph Legg.

Minutes of the last regular meeting of April 25, 2011 were approved
and accepted.

New treasurer Sandy Piercey and Newsletter Editor Jeanne Legg were welcomed.

TREASURER'S REPORT: Sandy Piercey reported a positive balance, and
noted that dues have been collected from 68 homeowners, which
represents 46% of total properties. The treasurer's report was
approved and accepted.

BLOCK CAPTAIN COMMITTEE REPORT: Dave Palmer reported that there is now
a shortage of two Block Captains. Block Captains are now needed for
Blocks One and Ten. Also, a Block Captain chairperson is still needed.

ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE REPORT: Marty Gerbasi reported that he has
volunteered to be chair of this committee now that former chair Dave
Holton has moved out of the area. Sandy Fisher is currently on this
committee, and one more committee member is needed. Marty also
reported that two homeowners were in the process of building
improvements and that neither of them had requested approval. Marty
will send letters to both of them.

WEBSITE COMMITTEE REPORT: Don Nester reported that he has added a new
link to the propane prices. Since the prices are always in flux, this
link will allow members to access the most current information. Don
also reported that he has updated the contact list for the website.

CC&R COMMITTEE: Dave Palmer reported that the current financial
situation with the county and the resultant layoffs are causing delays
in needed repairs. There is still some brush clearing needed as well
as several potholes in need of repair. Dave reported that he checked
with Sharon at the County and was assured that the CSA funds are being
kept in a separate account.

RIDGETTES: Carole Robinson reported that the next Ridgette luncheon
will be a potluck at the home of Dottie Page on Crestwood Court on
August 24.

NEWSLETTER: Jeanne Legg reported that the deadline for submitting
material for the next newsletter will be Monday, September 5. The
newsletter is going to all homeowners at this time and email delivery
is still being encouraged. A reminder will go in the newsletter to
encourage all homeowners to pay their dues.

NEW BUSINESS: Dave Palmer reported that he is considering the
possibility of holding this year's annual Christmas party at the
Willow Springs Association Facility. The facility there has tables,
chairs and a kitchen, and would charge $100. for the event. A
discussion followed of the advantages of holding the Christmas party
there, and it was suggested that this location might encourage
attendance by younger families with children. A tentative date of
December 11 has been set for the party. It was decided that further
discussion would follow as to whether to hold the Ridgewood holiday
party at Willow Springs.

The next regular Board meeting will be held at the home of Carole and
Richard Robinson on November 7, 2011.

As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:30 PM.

Respectfully Submitted,

Kathie Isaac-Luke,
Secretary
