RIDGEWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
May 14, 2012 Board Minutes
The regular meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order at 3:00 PM at the home of Sandy and Lee Piercey. Board members in attendance were President Dave Palmer, Treasurer Sandy Piercey, Webmaster Don Nester, Architectural Committee Chair Marty Gerbasi, alph Legg, and Block Captain Robin Ronan.
Minutes of the last regular meeting of February 27 were approved and accepted.
TREASURER'S REPORT: The treasurer's report was approved and accepted.
BLOCK CAPTAIN COMMITTEE REPORT: Chairpersons are Robin Ronan, Glenn Mutch.
It was suggested to modify the block captain program to facilitate getting important information distributed quickly, possibly creating sub-blocks. Also, there is a need to create a phone list for each block and sub-block. Robin Ronan, Glenn Mutch, and Dave Palmer will meet to discuss the block captain program.
ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE REPORT: Architectural Committee:
Chairperson Marty Garbasi reported that an interior fence for Phil and Barbara Harvey, and an enclosed garden for John and Marsha LaTorre were approved.
Also reported was that a home on Morning Dove Court needs to be checked for any dangerous situations, i.e. trash, weeds, and a dangerous pool.
It was decided to generate a letter addressed to the owners of (lot 29) regarding trash/debris in their yard.
CC&R COMMITTEE: In the absence of Bim Hastings, this committee had no report.
RIDGETTES: Carole Robinson was absent, but she has sent out announcements that the next meeting of Ridgettes is a luncheon to be held at Standard Pour on May 16 at 11:30am.
NEW BUSINESS: The Ridgewood Neighborhood Association
Summer party will be held at the home of Larry and Nancy Bertuccelli at 16212 Crestridge Ave. on Sunday June 24th from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. An announcement will be printed in the newsletter.
As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned. The next regularly schedule meeting will be held at the summer party.
